Some changes need to be made...

I have been playing this game for awhile and I love it. But I have noticed the same thing as the others players. The number of items needed to unlock special characters is outrageous and, as stated before, some you can only buy. Even trying to unlock the regular characters is getting to be ridiculous.
Im not going to spend my money to buy items that can only be bought to unlock other things.
This game is starting to be more like a chore. If you want to earn anything you have to stay on top of things.
